There are two temp sending plugs, But I think we're talking about the
same one. The plug that attaches to the temp sender (a female connector
if I remember, the temp sender being male) fills with coolant. If the
fans come on when you disconnect, then thats the plug I am talking about.
You need to replace the two female pins by prying them out of the plug,
detaching them from the wires,installing new pins, and inserting the pins
into the plug, which is then connected to the temp sensor.
