The 505's I see on the road are in typical condition relative to their
age. I have encountered some nice examples at Gunther's shop. Most of
these cars seem to be owned by doctors!? There were a good deal of
Peugeots sold in Houston, and Houston was one of Peugeot's HQ's.
I am told that in Dallas there are plenty of Peugeots, and that you can
find them pretty cheap up there. Austin, besides the fact that the French
Revolution is located there, also has a great deal of Peugeots. I have
seen several 504 wagons in great condition. Most 505's I have seen are
well taken care of. (by Pat Whale perhaps?) Most 405's with one exception
are in excellent condition. Almost all cars that I have seen are rust
free, an advantage of living here. However some do have that ohh so
typical Peugeot Clear-coat peel due to the hot sun.
