PEUGEOT IS BACK?
Peugeot Sport's insiders suggested last week that a WRC development programme
based either on the highly competitive F2 306 or the new Peugeot 206 may be
planned next year.
As an introduction, next year will however see the return for Francois
Delecour, Peugeot will be announcing the Frenchman's schedule shortly, but I
can confirm six asphalt rounds are on the cards."
Will this see the return of the 'Peugeot 206' rocket's of a bygone age?
On another note while in New Zealand last week I saw two of the new 106 (well
it's new to most of us outside Europe !), one was a GT and it looked great. I
have to say if I owned a 205 and wanted a newer car this would be the one, it's
flared wheel extensions and general look was agresive and very nice. Has anyone
driven one ?
