Car Talk & Peugeot

Did anyone hear Car Talk last weekend? A guy called in about an '86 505
turbo he had bought that needed a new head. The brothers gave the guy a lot
of grief, saying he had violated the two main tenets of automobile
ownership: 1] "never buy a Peugeot" and 2] "never pay your mechanic in
advance." This guy from New Hampshire had done both. Also, apparently Tom
and Ray are under the impression that all Peugeot owners live in New
Hampshire...perhaps we should enlighten them.

I am a big fan of Car Talk, even though they rag on Pugs a lot. Of course,
many friends & family members also happen to have been listening. Not 30
seconds after that segment ended, the phone rang and it was my father-in-law
calling to give ME grief. I set him right by telling him my car was a lot
more comfortable than his Lincoln Continental (but he doesn't believe me; he
merely indulges me), so I'll show him when he comes for a visit in Oct.
