PEUGEOT may not have the prestige of other European cars in England, either.
I finally got around to reading the review of the 406 in CAR (recent issue)
where they, and owners, say it's as good or better than a BMW, for thousands
less in price (one reason I bought the 405); yet those who don't yet know the
cars still shy away from these French things in favor of the German prestige
factor.
I may post the review here later, along with all those uncovered old reviews
I dug out.
