Ray,

Personal experience with the 406 (estate) as a rental was that it drove
great! However the example I had use of would do all sorts of weird
electrical things (alarm at random, occasional wacky immobiliser, other
electricals turning on and off at random...)

Didn't really carry through will all the promise the car had.

The smaller estate (305?) that I borrowed the prior trip had developed a
CO leak and under-hood bits fell off in my hands... again drove well,
but....

Is it just my impression, or have the 505/405 and later models become a
bit fragile and lost some of the high build integrity of the 504?

Cheers,

Steve
