Peugeot feels there is a market for BOTH Peugeot and Citroen on South America
(though smaller for Citroen), and I suspect the same would be true here in
North America. I'd guess those buying high performance VOLVOs and SAABs would
see the Citroen offering the same things (reputation for engineering, it's
exclusivity) and also a car that has some STYLING which the others do not (or
not as much). New Citroens are pretty zippy looking.
