Ray et al.

I'll chime in on this note, I'm starting to really like my 405 DL but
for crying out loud, does it have to have sooo many little things
break!!

After waiting forever for the squealing heater fan to fail, I had it
replaced. Now the switch has failed and the thing runs full on all the
time. If this was the only electrical problem in 9 years I'd be happy
but sadly it's just the latest.

When Peugeot/Citroen returns to North America they better come prepared
to offer the best warranty in the business and then hope nobody needs
it. After twenty years of buying Japanese reliabity I don't think
Americans will go for "really nice" but doggedly unreliable French cars.

On the same note, reliabilty shouldn't be an issue for Peugeot anymore,
if by now their cars haven't reached "Japanese" standards of quality,
their days as an independent manufacture are numbered anyways.

Still waiting for Peugeots glorious return to North America,

-Philip
