93 405 Mi16 - Running on Three Cylinders

Hi All,

My Series II Mi16 is still running on 3 cylinders, and it seems as though
it is only running on 4 cyls occasionally. I don't know if there is a
wiring problem, or if one of the Spark Coils is faulty. This problem only
appeared about 2 weeks ago, and I have had the spark plug cover many times,
trying to find and fix the problem. I don't know if the spark coil/lead is
sitting correctly, or not. Three of the coil/leads firmly click onto the
spark plug, but one doesn't, and I think that could be a problem. However
I don't have any information on how to determine if the coil is faulty.

I would really appreciate it if someone with the Haynes Manual could have a
look in the relevant section to see how to find a faulty coil/lead and how
to fix it if possible. I have ordered a manual, though don't expect it for
a couple of weeks, and I can't really afford to take the car to my Peugeot
Mechanic as I am rather short on cash.

You help is very, very appreciated.

Regards,

Greg Bastian
