Looking at my Factory Wiring book for 1987/88 505, I believe the point to
access is MC15, a single terminal located in the engine area on the LH
strut tower. This is the break point for "run-only power" going to the to
the fans. It comes from pin 4 of the fuse block. If you disconnect that
and run the fan-side to +batt "hot at all times", the fan(s) will run
whenever the thermo-switch is above the "hot point". It's hard to say
what effect the A/C state will have on this without a lot of analysis. I'd
suggest you try a test jumper and see. If that gets you what you want, I
can then suggest a better place to pick up the +batt.
