I've had lots of problems with tire stores trying to balance the wheels on my
505 & 405 alloy wheels. Usually go with sticky weights, though don't know
what the last store used. (Yep, I know that >THUNK< when a weight goes flying
off, right after leaving the tire store!) A bit of advice: buy REALLY GOOD
tires, and they need less correction in the first place. I think my 405 DL
probably has no weights left on, but the MICHELINs are so well made, they run
vibration free regardless.
