I own a '92 405SRI. It's great car. Recently, the automatic antenna
system failed. I took out the unit, disassembled it. That was a
complicate "West Germany" unit. The motor was working, but seemed like
the rail that pushed and pulled the antenna was broke. I can order a
new one from the local sole agent and have the whole set replaced, but
at US$500.00! Is it possible that I can get it from any of your network
at a more reasonable deal?
A year ago, I tried out the new 405 2.0 liter Turbo (manual). I love
the car and its handling. But the interior was not more spacious than
the 405. I still miss it however and would probably buy one when I
gather enough financial resources. In the meantime, has any one on the
list (other than those in U.S. I'm afraid) got any experience of using
the 406s? Would really like to know if it is good and reliable, and how
it is compared to 405s.
