I'm not through identifying all of the problems plaguing my '87, 74000mi (not all mine) 505 Turbo SW N9TE, and here comes another one : it's been emitting white smoke (?) vapor (?) for two days now, like when weather is cold+damp and engine still cold, except that it still does after one hour of driving (mainly at idle, as far as I can notice while at the wheel)...
I'm suspecting either the engine oil or coolant is not circulating the way it should, and probably the engine overheats...
Of course, it had to happen now : I'm w/o engine temp indication at the dash for the time, as the engine oil pressure sensor gave some time ago, the mechanic could only fit the standard (here) ('short') one, so didn't put the engine oil temp sensor back ; since then I got the US model ('long') one, and expected to have it fit back upon next oil change...
Anyway, any tips to a possible diagnosis on that white smoke/vapor welcome !
