I pay as low as $.87 US/gal for regular (octane 87).
The Governor and/or the State Assembly keep rejecting any increases sales taxes on gas.
The end result is that new cars are getting bigger again, with progressively poorer mileage
(back to the '60s !), and Sport Utility Vehicles own the road.
So, my mid-sized, and fuel efficient '92 405DL Sportwagon with its 35 MPG is viewed as a quaint
oddity, unfortunately.
