85 505 TD Update on turbo oil feed line leak

thanks to those who have sent info on my problem.

I removed both ends of the steel line today to check for blockage and/or
crack.

First of all, a "D" to Peugeot engineers for access to turbo end nut.
Had to remove blower fan and getting at the last clip was horrendous. I
think I'll take the suggestion to leave it out upon refitting.

The nut size is 17 mm not 13. using a pair of 17mm wrenches, one plain
and the other the flared brake line wrench, I worked a good 25 minutes
to remove the nut at the turbo end. I noticed as the line came off the
turbo end that it was rather dry for being an oil supply pipe. I yanked
the whole thing out (noted that line was NOT fastened at rear of
block/head). I then blew into in from the oil filter end of the pipe
and noted an initial blockage followed by a lot of gurguling noise then
thick fluid shoots out of the other end, but still no unrestricted
flow. Shot gum out into the line and let it sit for 15 mins. Cleaned
again with gum out and blew. This time full passage.

The pipe was leaking at filter end, turbo end seemed blocked. Appears
to be no visible crack or crimp in the line.
Do these add up to a diagnosis of pluged supply line as opposed to
cracked? Or are cracks not often visible, and leak only under pressure?

I do remember, when I had the head and manifolds out, shooting some gum
out into the intake opening leading into the turbo. Could this have
loosened deposits that later clogged up the turbo?

Any leads will be appreciated.

PS: is it ok if I shoot gum out into the turbo end where the line screws
in (hoping to clear deposits)?
