Re: 405 and 505's closest substitute

For the 405? Especially the Mi16, I would equate it to these cars of the
same vintage.
Volkswagen Passat 2.0 16v
Infiniti G20 (Nissan Primera elsewhere in the world)

For the 505? This TOTALLY depends on the engine, as the year, engine, etc,
plays into this equation.
I would compare the 505 Turbo and V6 to say....a BMW 535i (E28) from the
same vintage?
