I worked in a bicycle shop directly across the street from a Peugeot dealer
when the505 came out. I thought it was the greatest looking car then and really
wanted one.
Now I have two and still like looking at the sedan especially.

As time has gone on I've seen what I considered some pretty pedestrian cars
attain collector status, old Volvos being right up there. Of course any twenty
or so
year old car in near perfect shape gets attention and starts looking like a
collectible.
I also agree that we are the collectors right now. Most cars go through a
period
of lowest value when most examples get driven into the ground. The few well
kept
cars begin to gain in value sometime later. As has been said here before, the
better we keep our cars looking the more "nice old" Peugeots will be on the
road. Already I've
noticed fewer beater Pugs on the roads in the Northeast.
