Suspension parts

I just had my 1987 505 Turbo pass an insurance inspection providing I
fix a couple of little things, one of which is a tie rod end.

I have noticed that replacing "bushings" seems to be a hot topic with
the list. Is this a general reference to all of the suspension soft
parts, such as rod ends, etc?
