My parked 505 TD was bumped by our 505 wagon with my wife at the wheel.
I guess the bump must have been of significant force as I now see that
the rear right bumber on the 505 TD sedan is somewhat recessed (about 2
- 3 inches) under the tail lights. Living on a dead end street is great
for privacy but lousy for street parking cars (neighbors have set up
basketball court, and mailman hates it when cars block his left-hand
drive access).
Actually its not my wife's fault entirely since I have instituted a
rule that all cars on the driveway must be parked with bumpers either
touching or so close together that no child can pass in between bumpers
of parked vehicles. She hit the TD in process of doing this one late
evening.
Anyway, is there a way to pull out the rear bumber on the right side
just a tad? Or is the only way to replace the bumber?
thanks
