According to my 1989 Peugeot brochure, the two 505 V-6 models
are as follows.
505 S V-6: 145 HP fuel injected OHC V-6, 5 speed manual or 4 speed
(ZF 4HP22) automatic trans., limited slip diff., power sunroof, Clairion
anti-theft AM/FM/Cass. with 6 spkrs., air-con., cruise control, velour
upholsery, alloy wheels.
505 STX V-6: Same engine and trans as above, ABS anti-lock brakes,
Torsen limited slip diff., electronic speed sensitive power steering,
power sunroof, Alpine anti-theft AM/FM/Cass.with 6 spkrs., air-con,
cruise control, leather upholsery, alloy wheels.
Note: Metallic paint was available as an option on both models.
