Also the first one I got I bought locally and the ball catch did not quite work, fell off after 5 uses, there must be a slightly different ball shape on the Aerostar. So I made the long trip to Pep Boys and their Prolift #92108 was perfect.

The struts from a Ford Aerostar with the rear window wiper are an exact match
and they have the required poop.
