The wheels off the 504 SW the rims may actually be wider because SWs used
a .5" wider rim. The most important thing is that you use the nuts that fit
the rim.
Some 504s used a convex washer on the wheel nut probably earlier than your SW
but who knows what is on anything after 20 years. The tires that the 2
vehicles
were delivered with are different sizes, the SW using a slightly larger tire.

The 390mm TRX rim is 15.35" in diameter. I love Michelin TRXs on the 505.
Best mag/tire
looks and handling especially if you can find the tires and rims cheap.
These wheels were
the hot set up on many performance cars in the early to mid 80s, BMW,
T-Bird, 5.0L
and turbo Fords, Firebirds and Cameros.
These sizes are good for all 504s and 505s upto but not including 1986.
The SW sizes can be used on the sedan but with a larger tire your
speedometer will
read less than with the smaller tire at the same actual speed.
Your overal final drive ratio will decrease by a few percent; worse
performance,
possibly better gas milage.
