I don't think it is fair to make judgement calls on a specific nationality
based on encounters with a few. If the situation were reversed, i.e., a
French national making blanket statements about Americans based on a negative
encounter, we'd be the first to point out the few is not representative of the
mass.

As far as loyalties, I don't expect French bakers to drive Peugeots, etc. just
because they're French... that would be ludicrous. Americans don't all buy
American, Quebecers don't all buy Renaults and fly Air France.

I personally don't see where this specific thread is headed or useful.
