Rulon,

Track down a product called Lexol you can probably find it at your
european car dealerships. About $14 a bottle buy both the cleaner and
the conditioner. Spray the entire bottle of conditioner on the seats and
let sit overnight, the dry seats will soak up all of the conditioner.

Next day, clean with the cleaner and then buy another bottle of
conditioner and treat as usual.

My seats were dry and ugly as well when I bought the car and are now soft
and almost glove like.
