can anyone tell me where the chime is located? I've been thinking of
replacing it with one from a Ford or later model BMW that has a solid
tone instead of the annoying "Beethoven" theme my chime plays; friends
laugh every time they hear it. But it is no worse than a '88 VW Fox my
sister used to own, which sounded like the opening for "La Cuccaracha"!!
What do you think, would it be possible to replace it with the above
mentioned? Do 505s have a different chime?
