pass....I have never bothered to find on....one pair will be 12
v to the clock, and there would also be power to the light

It's design....the clock is easily dis-assembled....two small
screws hold it together...when you pull it apart....the circuit board
with the "brains" will be in one hand and the display will be in the
other, along with the buttons. The display gets its power from a
conductive rubber strip which makes contact with the circuit board and
the display and is held there by the compressive force of the two
screws...as the screws get loose so the rubber strip fails to maintain
contact with one of the other sides...and the clock goes
intermittant....tightening the screws will cure the problem.....UNTIL
you strip the plastic that the screws bite into....and then you have to
take remedial action.....which seems to be an iterative process......
