505 STI 1987- Weird Peugeot Electrical Demons Return

A while back I had a situation where the left turn signal would flash very
rapidly when the brake peddle was depressed. The problem left as
mysteriously as it arrived. Now the problem is back. If I let off of the
brake peddle the indicator will slow down. Also at night when its most
visible, I can see the left indicator light up in my Instrument panel when
depressing the brake peddle. Has this happened to anyone else out there?
