I do know a Peugeot owner in New Jersey who claims to have seen a brand new '97
or '98 Peugeot (probably a 406) at a stop light. The driver (a distinguished
looking gentleman was the description) made an effort to send a big hello.
Could this possibly be a Peugeot USA EPA evaluation unit ?

There are still many Peugeot's on the road in suburban New Jersey.
