I agree about the thriftiness factor for second hand owners, and I'm
certainly included in that group. However, a new Peugeot is/was not cheep,
but it's just a great car, (both new and used). Another reason I like my
Pug is its a little different from the crowd. For example, while stopped at
a light the other day - it was raining - a BMW driver rushed out of his car
and ran up to mine gesturing wildly. I opened my window somewhat confused.
He shook my hand and said,"I just want to say I love your car! In Africa
they import used Peugeots and drive them for another twenty years."
