An acquaintance who has a Porsche 944 Turbo bet me $50 that his Porsche would
win if we raced. I have an 88 505 Turbo with a 5 speed. The turbo is probably
about due for replacing (sometimes I smell burning oil when I start the car
and when I drive it really hard, not when I rev the engine in neutral though)
and I've got 111,000 miles on the engine. Should I take him up on the offer
(It would be a start to my "Replace the turbo" fund)?
