Ok, I know this is jumping the gun a little but...
what kind of engine performance are we looking at when(and if) Peugeot
returns? If the 2.9 L ES9 V-6 produces 195bhp in Europe with its strict
emissions laws, perhaps an "American" version will be slightly more
powerful, say...205bhp or even 210. I have heard that Europe's Mi16
only had 140bhp versus our 150. Although 195bhp is quite enough to move
the 406 rather quickly, what about a larger "506"?
A 300bhp V-8 would be just the thing for the 50? to compete with
BMW's 540 and squeezed into the 406, a M3 fighter!!!
