Rick,

There are 5 bolts holding the center console (can't remamber the exact
size). There is one behind the tringular cover at the top of the
console. The next one is behind the ash tray (open and press down on
metal tab inside ash tray). The remaining three are located at the
bottom pf the console and cannot be removed unless the radio housing is
removed (mine has been removed several times and is loose).
Take care when removing the plugs and hoses on the back of the console.
I took a permanent marker and numbered each plug and a spot next to the
plug. The hoses are color coded, but there are two black hoses -- one
should have a red band around it.
The hard part is when you go to put the console back in -- the little
lite plug has a tendancy to want to fall out and the hoses are barely
long enough.
I highly recommend you do not take the AC switch assembly apart. I have
not had much luck getting it to work right afterwards.
Good luck,
Garry
