In it's US Federalized form, the 1989 Mi16 has 79hp per liter
displacement. Does anyone know what are some of the most powerful
hp/liter stock, non-turbo, non-supercharged, US-spec engines sold? There
can't be many engines higher than 79hp/liter.

Also, does anyone know if an in-depth technical description of the XU9J4
engine exists? All I know from the 1989 brochure is that it has a
spheroidal graphite crankshaft and some other random facts. It also says
it has a 9.5:1 compression ratio, but an Automobile magazine I have says
it has a 10.4:1 ratio. I would imagine the brochure is correct.
