Check the Acura Integra R, its a 4 cyl. version of the engine in the NSX.
Titanium rods, variable valve timing, and an 8,000 rpm red line. I think it
has 190 hp from1.8l (105 hp/l)
and is the highest specific output of any car for sale in the US.
BTW An Alfa Veloce from the mid 60s had 129hp from 1570 cc ( 82 hp/l)
