Also the overheating recently endemic to my 92 was fixed by a simple change of
the temperature sending switch, located below the thermostat. Thanks to the
Haynes manual.. I figured it out. The 89's had a problem with coolant
overheating getting into it and shorting it out, guess in 92s it still could
happen. She's now purring along and not going 190 degrees in NYC bumper to
bumper summer beach traffic.
