There's a lot of good uses for a DVM (Digital Multimeter) on any car or
for that matter just around the house. Over the years, they've gotten
cheaper and also features have been added. Fluke is a good brand. One
feature to watch for is a built-in Thermocouple input. This can be great
for measuring water temp, oil temp, A/C air temp etc. Type K t'couples
(yellow) come in all sizes even to the extent of small wires that can be
slipped inside a radiator hose at the inlet.
My next planned use for mine is intercooler efficieny versus road speed
