Further research shows that the 215 CID Sprint OHC-6 was produced by
Pontiac in 1964 and first shipped in 1965 model year Tempest/LeMans.

It also shipped in the 1967 Firebird its inaugural year, first cars
shipping in the fall of 1966 I'd think.
