The whole airbox arrangement in those cars is faulty in that the seal of
the lid and the periphery of the filter element leaks.

I'm not sure what an actual Peugeot looks like but the foam of every one
I've seen has been rotted on the "clean" side. Perhaps it's just the
aftermarket ones. I just put a Beck-Arnley 042-1502 (Italian made) one
into my N9TE lacking anything better. At $17.17 dealer it's a joke and at
almost $33 list, it's ludicrous. Has anyone ID'd a K&N conical that will
fit inside the airbox?
