Peugeot sightings in Brooklyn

Now that I have become familiar with my new area, I thought I would
report on some of the interesting Pugs in my area. Within maybe 2
square blocks of my apartment are quite a few nice Pugs. In addition
to my 405DL, there is another 405DL, blue with the blue velour
interior. There are 2 405S Sportswagons, one in excellent condition,
one which "lives" on my block. Plenty of 505s, including an '85 505GL
also on my block (it's tan, not flattering for a 505 IMHO). One
interesting 505 I saw was a 505 V6 GLX. It had euro lamps. Is this a
euro-market car? I don't recall there being a V6 model with a GLX
designation. Anyway, the most interesting Pug is a '70s 504 diesel
wagon, obviously a Euro-market import, as it has the euro headlights,
not to mention US plates bolted straight on top of old French license
plates! It is in pretty good condition, only minor rust. And of
course, there are plenty of other 405s/505s throughout my neighborhood
- I even saw 2 (different) Citroen 2CVs the other weekend. Definitely
some French car culture down here, probably thanks to L&S.
