A while ago I sent a FAX to Janet Guthrie, of Indy fame, asking about her
Racing career in Peugeot. Today, I received a nice letter and some
enclosures. Here's an excerpts from the stuff:

USEC, and IMSA Firehawk) in 1985 and 1986. First in SSB, "Longest Day"

6/29-30/85 SSB/1 Longest Day, Nelson Ledges **
7/6-7/85 SSB/6 collapsed fuel hose
8/31/85 SSB/2 poor pit stop, would have won
9/28-29/85 SSB/3 brake changes

** 7th overall behind Corvette, 4 Porsche 944, and a Z28

5/11/86 SSB/9 1st race w/John Woodner, bad class breakpoints
6/28-29/86 SSB/4 Longest Day, actually 3rd, could have been
1st except for loose bolt issue causing 1/2
pitstop

8/9/86 SP/4 Limerock 4hr., 7 overall
9/20/86 SP/4 Watkins Glen, poor handling in rain
