I've taken the need for a transmission cooler to heart and my 505 is
currently at the tranny shop awaiting the transplant.
However, the shop is telling me something about the Peugeot's
transmission lines not being the same size as the cooler lines.
Apparently the Peugeot has larger lines than the lines in the "standard"
aux cooler. Since my tranny already has some performance problems they
are very reluctant to cut and splice a cooler into the lines without
being absolutely sure it's the right fit.
I've called around to the ZF shops on the website and was told basicly to
contact the dealer for the correct cooler. yeah right.
Can anyone confirm a part number for an auxilary cooler or assure me that
cooler lines are smaller? The cooler name I'm hearing most frequently is
Hayden. If someone has the Hayden part number that would be a big help.
