My younger brother sold cars in the late 80s and had a Renault Medallion as a
demo. As you would expect, the ride wasgreat. However, it was extremely
underpowered and had transmission and engine problems . Typical of Renault in
those years. BTW, I had a Renault encore 1.9 as my first new car, and thought
that the design was great (build quality at AMC, however, was predictably
sloppy from the Kenosha factory with the worst labor relations problems in the
USA),
