86 505 STI Advice Needed

A friend rang me up asking about an 86 STI that he saw in the paper. Low miles
(60ish), 5 speed, loaded.. supposedly in exc shape, they wanted 1,900 obo.

I have no knowledge of this year/model. Can anyone provide info as to its
good and bad points and what kind of engine is in this car... I will pass on
this info. to my friend w/ no email access.
