Clutch pedal 405

I just had the plastic part that connects the clutch cable to the pedal
replaced. It failed with no warning. "push pedal down, snap, no pedal no
clutch control. When I called the "dealer" he knew what it was, "some do
that at about 100 k" The part is about $8.00 Might be something to put in
the tool kit. If it lets go on a trip, plan on staying another day. (step
one, remove the master cylinder, step two remove the booster, ETC.) I had
the dealer do it.
