I was just going to ask this same question!
What's involved in changing the rear main seal?
I also have a bit of info on the subject:
I was calling my not-so-local Peugeot dealer
today to ask regarding new main seals for my
81 XD2S. I gave him the revised part #0119.12
and he said he never stock these because all they
use in their shop are seals from GM. He said they are
the same seal as used on GM V8's!
Anyone heard this before? This would save me alot of time
if it's true.
