There is an adjustment to change the upshift point. There is an adjustment
that increases the distance between the shift kickdown cable sleeve and the
shift cable bead. The greater the gap the later the shift. This is coupled
with the demands placed by the driver on how hard he uses the pedal. Less
pedal earlier shift visa versa. Less gap earlier shift. More gap more pedal
later shift and so on and so on.
