Re 505 rear main seal

I had a problem with a leaking rear main seal on my 84 505 TD wagon. The
dealer replaced it with a GM seal. That was at 75K miles; the speedo broke
at 125K but I estimate the vehicle has about 135K miles on it now. It
seems to have held up pretty well. Having said that, I probably will start
noticing oil on the rear hatch.
