When my '73 Fiat 850 Spider caught on fire, I had a fire extinguisher
on hand. Unfortunately, it was about 3 years old, and I had neglected
to keep it charged. Moral of story? Buy an extinguisher with a
pressure gauge, keep it charged, or else watch your car burn!

Allan,

This is a prudent idea and I think I'll buy a couple for my cars as well.
But having said that, if either of my Peugeot's ever catch on fire I
doubt that my wife would let me put them out:-)
