If your car is indeed loosing fuel as fast as your gauge indicates you'll
see it on the road behind you. It most likely is the fuel sender unit,
or wiring or the gauge itself. I just took apart and repaired a sender
unit in the 84 sedan. Look in the archive for the procedure.. Maybe the
one from your 83 parts car will fit.
