Hi!
To ansver your question about the diff. between the 505 Aouto and the 604
auto ! I had an 81 505 TD Auto and a 82 604 TD auto and I would say that the
diff. in performance was not that much, but I would say that the 604 gives
you a much more comfortable ride, but not quiet as agile ! more of a big car
ride. the 604 is about 400 lbs heavier as far as fuel milage I got around 32
MPG in the 505 and 29-30 in the 604 !
My present car is an 82 604 TD with a 5 speed manual trans. and with that one
i get around 35 on the Higway i think the best i ever got in the 604 Auto was
32 MPG.
IMHO the 604 is the best riding Peugeot I have owned ! and I have over the
years owned many diff. ones 403,404,504,and on my 3th 604 the 2 previous ones
was not in that great a shape but provided good reliable transportation .
